Hi, I’ve tried to install HACS (Home Assistant Community Store Addon) on an HASS OS qemu2 VM.
I can’t manage it, cause there is also no Samba Add On in this HASS OS available. Is there anything I have to do before?
Help would be appriciated.
Thx
Regards
You can:
- Install one of the SSH add-ons, use that
- Install the Samba add-on, use that
Thank you! But I don’t have these Add-ons to choose…
There is no samba or openssh add on. I installed the qcow2 Homeassistant OS…
I’m not going to be helpful, but will simply add that I downloaded the qcow2 image a few months back, 0.111, and the Samba and SSH AddOns were available then. Do you have any AddOns showing up in the Supervisor->Add-on Store ?
Ok thx for beeing so responsive…I have a lot Addons inside and also activated the advanced mode under the profile settings.
Here is a scrennshot from the supervisor addon tab…
There should be a category of Add-ons above the Home Assistant Community Add-ons
labeled as Official add-ons
. If the Official add-ons is not there, then yea something may have gotten messed up in the image build?
It’s not there…I can only upload one picture per answer
This are all add-ons that i can see…
Sorry for beeing a noob…
So I also think there is a bug. Everyone expect that there will be all plugins in HASS OS with qcow2 image. But what can I do to get my home assistant running. I don’t want to use Docker or Raspberry cause I have already a performant Server with Unraid on it and don’t want to invest in any new environment. Also HASS Docker is not the real thing with Unraid…too buggy. Any suggestions?
Regard
Ok guys…I’ve converted the vmdk file to an img what my unraid vms also takes…And look all add ons are in…YIPPIE…So yes qcow2 is buggy. Should I respond to any developers?
Definitely report it. TBH, I’m not exactly sure which category to report it against, but I would think Issue Tracker Home Assistant OS would be the proper one:
