Homeassistant/raspberrypi4-homeassistant not up to date?

Does anyone know why the docker image homeassistant/raspberrypi4-homeassistant has not been updated for 24 days? Until now I could always just load the stable image after a new release and was up to date. However, for some reason the latest version is 2023.6.3.

You should read the release notes. Very first breaking change: 2023.7: Responding services - Home Assistant

To be fair, I’m not exactly a newbie and I read the release notes, but I didn’t understand that

referred to those images, either, and I asked the same question
I’m pretty sure those images were recommended, at some (long gone) point…

Indeed, I totally missed it as well. And honestly it’s not the users’ fault anyway, it should at least be mentioned in the abandoned hub images.

For anyone else late to the party as me and who doesn’t want to read release notes, just backup your stuff and switch to the image homeassistant/home-assistant:stable.

It was a painless switch for me (a few things even work better after the update!), but YMMV.
