So I’ve been using homebridge with success, but decided I’d switch to the native homekit component seeing as homebridge for HA is now deprecated.
I have had no luck with it unfortunately.
I stopped, and uninstalled homebridge via hassio. I then deleted the homebridge folder.
I then preceded to add homekit into config.yaml.
The pin code appeared but when I try to add home assistant into homekit I keep getting “Can’t add accessory”
Something seems wrong as most videos I have seen about the new homekit component show the accessory name in homekit as “Home Assistant”, whereas for me it shows up as “Home Assistant B…”.
Obviously something is wrong, but I can’t work it out.
Has anyone else run into issues migrating? Anyone got any suggestions to resolve this please?
