I keep receiving 2 “new devices discovered” and can’t seem to figure out what to do with them.
The first one is “Hisense 7217X BE14 via HomeKit Accessory Protocol” and the other is
“TCL 7182X B2B2 via HomeKit Accessory Protocol”.
When I click CONFIGURE on the first one, I get “an unhandled error occurred while attempting to pair with this device”
And when I click on CONFIGURE on the 2nd one, it asks for a pairing code–which I can’t seem to find. I think it is trying to pair up with 2 more smart plugs that I have but the code on the back doesn’t work.
Any ideas on this?
I have a similar issue and it started right after my TCL Roku TV updated to the 9.4 OS release that includes AirPlay.
Now I get “DISCOVERED: TCL 7128X F7F7 via HomeKit Accessory Protocol” on every boot and even when following all the instructions I can find about how to add this, I can’t make this message go away.
When I look in homekit on my iPhone, I can see the TV entity in there already.
