I am not too sure if this has been suggested or possible at all. I would be happy to hear all other opinions on this.
As you know, you can see the device history when you go into details of a device. You can see when it turned on and by whom.
The thing here is to identify who turned on the device, the person has to interact with the companion app or use dashboard.
If you use homekit, HA doesn’t store the ‘who’ variable. It just records the time and indicates that it has been turned on by homekit. Is it possible to identify who turned on the device when homekit used to interract with the home assistant homekit exposed devices?
If it is possible, it might be a nice addition.
