HomeKit Air Purifier Category?

Just purchased an air purifier which I have exposed to HomeKit via HA.

The purifier gets exposed as a “fan”.

Anyone know if this can get exposed as a “Purifier”? I do not see “Air Purifier” in the HomeKit HA Documentation(maybe it has not been implemented?) though Apple does have an official “Air Purifier” category (info here).

Reason I ask, I would love for it to be exposed like this below… also giving information about the air quality etc.

I’m curious why this doesn’t get enough love.
The humidifier got implemented. Probably not a big deal to get purifier added too.

The Homebridge Winix air purifier plugin here has managed to expose entities to HomeKit as “Air Purifiers” with the correct icon and everything. It looks like Home Assistant still doesn’t have an air purifier entity type in the native HomeKit integration. Is there any way around this, like a custom entity helper type change or something?
