I was having some issues with my HomeKit Bridge integration recently so I decided to delete it and start over. I selected “inclusion mode” as “include” then selected my device domains I wanted to add and checked all the devices that I wanted to include in HomeKit. When I scanned the QR code to add the bridge to my home however, EVERY device entity in HA was added to my Home. I don’t remember this being an issue last time I set up HomeKit Bridge. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Same here, I tried a few different things and this is rather annoying. I might try downgrading to see if it helps.
Having same issue here or almost, not all but most sensors are added even without selecting sensor type. Did you find any solution?
same as you! have you found a solution yet?
Anyone figure this out? This is a huge issue.
Started having this same issue tonight.
It seems it’s now a default that if you select a Domain to Include in HomeKit and then subsequently don’t add a specific entity belonging to that Domain, HomeKit Bridge will add all entities of that domain to HomeKit.
I cleared my mess up by removing one Domain at a time that had too many entities in Homekit, saving it, then more carefully added the Domain and at least one domain.entity back.
Solved this issue for me thank you.
