Have had the HomeKit bridge working up to a couple of weeks ago, and after an upgrade to HA (0.114 I believe), all devices are constantly in “No Response” in the Home-app on iOS. They all used to work! Have tried rebooting everything, removing and re-adding the Homekit bridge, disable anything with IGMP on my router/Wifi to no avail! Have the Edgerouter 4, and there is no mentioning of IGMP in “show configuration commands”. In my Unifi-controller, I no longer have “Enable multicast enhancement (IGMPv3)” enabled, and “Enable IGMP snooping” is not enabled either. Any other settings to check that I might have missed?
What am I missing? Or is there a bug I have not been able to find?
This is really annoying, WAF is not high right now, since my wife used Siri for the lights all the time, and she is now a bit pissed since it is no longer working due to this!
Do not think my Unifi controller version is relevant, as I have updated it several times over the course with HomeKit bridge “No Response” issues! Currently it runs on build “atag_6.0.28_14280” Seems it is more broken than working these days! It did not work with 0.118, 0.118.1, 0.118.2 but started working again with 0.118.3 immediately after the update without changing anything else on my network or Unifi-setup. So it definitely has to do with the version of Home-assistant! Only have a VLAN for my guest-network. Configuration is hardly ever changed on the Unifi controller, but as you know, Home-assistant is frequently updated! Have tried removing and re-adding the integration to no avail! Waiting for a new version of HA where it works is the only workaround, and it works in fewer and fewer versions, one out of 4 approximately!
I am also getting 2FA-requests every 30 minutes on the versions of HA that has these issues! Assuming this is related to the Apple iCloud integration! Pretty annoying and frustrating!
Well, it seems that some people have issue with Unifi controller branch 6.x, instead of 5.x, that’s why I’m asking, but if it seems to work again with new version of HA, that may be not the problem.
Have noticed something, if instead of restarting HA from GUI, I actually pull the plug on the RapsberryPi it runs on, and then plug it back in and let HA start, I can access my stuff via HomeKit in most cases! If I reboot HA via GUI after that, they go back to “No Response” until I pull the plug on the Raspberry pi again, then they seem to work!
So, seems it could be something getting stuck in RAM that is not cleared during restart of HA?
