I have successfully (though with some difficulty) removed an Eve Home Energy (UK thread-version) plug from my HomeKit set up and added it to Home Assistant using the HomeKit Device integration. I have Apple TVs and HomePod Mini. Eve devices have NOT been upgraded to Matter support.
Now I want to do an Eve Motion v2 sensor also.
Short version of the question - after the integration discovers it, I input the correct code, and it says ‘Device already paired’, how can I make the integration ‘forget’ this error and let me try again to pair it?
One way it to hard reset the device, pair it to HomeKit again, wait for it to switch from Bluetooth to Thread, remove it from HomeKit again, try pairing with HA again. That is a painful process.
Does the integration keep a list of failed paring devices I can find and remove this device so it will again be ‘discovered’ without going through all of that?
