Hi I have the somfy connectivity kit connected as a homekit device. Worked fine until the router was changed and the Somfy now has a new I.P. Homekit fails to connect with an error failed setup, but its trying to connect to its old IP… Is it possible to change it to a new IP, I`ve looked everywhere.

You can change it by editing this file: /config/.storage/core.config_entries then restart HA.
Just be careful and do a backup first.

Hi Pete, can’t you just add the device again in the homekit integration?
TIp for the future: make sure that your (important) devices get a fixed IP address, either by assigning it manually or by reserving in the DHCP server.

In the configuration tab of the file editor addon, remove .storage from the ignore pattern list then restart the addon
