Homekit devices change zone

I use the homekit bridge integration to push my devices in home assistant to homekit, so i can remote control them.
i have read that when home assistant starts and the device are not ready like zwave or zigbee devices homekit moves them around because of change in there ID. Some said to delay the start of homekit, but no post really explain how-to do this.

Where do i configure that homekit bridge should not start at boot of home assistant, i didn’t find any configuration for this.
After that i guess i would have to create an automation to start homekit bridge when everything else is started.

Thanks

Anyone has information on this?

Sounds familiar, but it’s not an issue with my ZHA setup (no Z-wave experience). Not anymore, that is.

I seem to recall having some conflicts with Homekit and HA months ago as I was getting more into HA, and restarting HA frequently. I used to reload the Homekit Bridge integration manually from time to time, and even learned how to use a script to do that from an automation. But I can’t recall when I’ve last done that, and the script shows it was last run this past September.

Bear in mind, since then there have been a few significant releases of HA and the Home app. The ‘problem’ may no longer exist, or it may still arise only when using specific devices. I forgot all about it, to be honest.
