I’ve setup a variety of Zooz and Leviton z-wave lights and my family has been using the Home app on their iPhones to control lights and dimmers.
I’ve noticed there is a delay when using the dimmer control from the Home application. Sometimes I’ll slide down from 80->20% and will see our lights go down by maybe 5% and then pause and go down again, and eventually get to the target.
However, with the Home Assistant iOS app I have zero issues.
Clearly one solution is to convince the family to switch to the HA app, but I’m hopeful there is a way to improve performance with the HomeKit integration.
Any one else experience this and have any ideas what may be going on? Is the issue with my physical HomeKit hub? With the HA HomeKit software?
