Hi everyone, I recently acquired a 2022 ecobee “smart thermostat premium”, which I’ve paired to my home assistant installation using both “ecobee Cloud” and “HomeKit Device” integrations. This post is concerning the local HomeKit integration.
The thermostat controller works mostly fine, but I noticed that sometimes temperature readings drop to 0 for no apparent reason. Sometimes it quickly goes back to the correct temperature, and others it stays as 0 and doesn’t come back up.
Could there be an issue with my HomeKit integration? I’ve had other issues where the Apple Home app stops reading data from Home Assistant’s sensors in its bridge.
