Abode has recently released HomeKit support for all of its security gateways (gen 1, gen 2, and Iota). Gen 1 and 2 HomeKit support is currently in beta, and I have access to it on my gen 1 gateway. However, I’m hoping to find someone who has the Abode Iota system who would be willing to help with some testing. You also need a device that can be used as a HomeKit Hub (HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad).
Home Assistant recognizes the Abode gateway as a HomeKit device, but pairing with HomeKit Controller and the HomeKit Python CLI ultimately fails even when using the correct HomeKit code. I opened an issue on the HomeKit Python GitHub repo. I’m hoping to find someone who has the Abode Iota system who would be willing to try pairing using the HomeKit Python CLI. I can guide you through it if needed.
