Homematic Dimmer can't be used

Hi,
I have successfully setup my new Home Assistant on a RPi3.
And with the help of the forum I was able to add my Homematic CCU2 device.
Now I’m struggling here with the Homematic devices.
I have a wired dimmer here which is regocnized and visible in the dashboard.
It can also be used in the dashboard with on/off and set dim level.
But it’s not a device but a entity.
That may be the reason why I can’t create a new scene for this.
And I can’t use in any automation.
Does anybody know who to use it?

The HomeMatic integration currently does not support devices. And there’s no estimate when this will change.
