I use Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 4 to control my radiators elements from Homematic IP. More precisely, they are the products HmIP-eTRV-2 (radiator) and HMIP-WTH-2 (wall). As radio module I use a USB stick from ELV.
For the connection to Home Assistant I use the corresponding Hassio Addon.
But unfortunately I have a problem with this. If I restart the Raspberry Pi (or disconnect it from power) or update the homematic addon or update Hassio, the Homematic addon loses the wireless connection to the devices. In the Homematic WebUI the devices are displayed as “Off”. To use the devices again, I have to reconnect the devices to the Homematic addon by a reset.
Please dont call Home Assistant OS “Hassio” it has not been known as that for over 18 months and its use only confuses new users. If you want an abbreviated term use “HA OS”.
