HomematicIP hitting rate limit since 2022.7

Hi all,

I’ve updated to 2022.7 (from 2022.6.1) yesterday and since then my HomematicIP is hitting the rate limit of HomematicIP REST API. Sensors become unabailable in Home Assistant and the HomematicIP App is also not working and just show me the rate limit error.
Since this correlates exactly with time of update I suspect Home Assistant as the cause. I will do another test by shutting it down.
Does anyone else have the problem?

Update to 2022.7.4 which solves the problem.

And give it a 2 hours to settle down again with the ratelimit.

Or force you internet connection to get a new IP address

The ratelimit is on the “hub” controlling the RF device.
The RF standard dictates that a device can not send more than 1% of the time.

What a difference (half) a day makes
I’m updating right now.

With 2022.7.4 it’s been stable for a good half hour now. Proof enough for me

There’s a RF rate limit with 1% per device. But the REST rate limit you’re notified about in the app is on the cloud site and this is AFAIK IP based (and can be reset by getting a new one ;-)).
