Homeseer switches and dimmers not recognized

I’m migrating my entire system from Homeseer to HA. I have 50+ Homeseer zwave switches and dimmers in my home. I also am migrating from a Homeseer Smartstick+ to a Zooz 800 controller by excluding each device from the old controller and then adding them to the new controller. I did all of this using Simplicity Studio. All of my devices are now added to the new controller with the controller added to HA however 5 of them are not being recognized correctly. I’ve tried re-interviewing them and that didn’t solve the issue. I then tried excluding a device and adding it back but that didn’t resolve the issue either. The devices are WS100+ and WD100+ switches and dimmers. Because they are not recognized correctly I cannot adjust any of the switch parameters that control dimming speed. Looking for some advice on what to try next.

Do the devices support security? If so the issue is likely your security keys. Try using the security keys you used in the Z-Wave PC Controller software. Also sometimes the interview process can take a while.

I didn’t use any security keys when adding the devices in Simplicity Studio. I used the same process to remove and then add each device. For some reason these devices are having an issue being recognized. When I re-interview the device I am getting a notification in HA that the process was completed successfully. It takes about 30-45 seconds to re-interview.

Is the firmware up to date in the devices?

Probably not. I have not messed with any firmware updates since I originally installed the switches about 8 years ago. I cannot retrieve any OTA firmware info from any of the devices using Simplicity Studio. I downloaded Homeseer’s Z-Flash tool and it recognizes all 52 nodes but is unable to import any of the information from all defined nodes because it says it cannot reach the node. This is pretty frustrating.

Fixed my problem. I removed all the devices I was having issues with, did a manual reset on each switch then added the devices. Each device was properly recognized after being manually reset.
