HomeTroller SEL with 1.58 GHz / 2GB / 32GB SSD sufficient for HA?

Wondering if anyone knows if I can run HA on a HomeSeer HomeTroller SEL. Hardware specs that I can find:

  • CPU: 1.58 GHz Dual-Core with 1 MB Cache
  • RAM: 2 GB
  • Storage: 32 GB SSD
  • Ubuntu

If you don’t have it yet, I would not buy it. But since it runs Ubuntu, at least a Docker install would work.

Actually convincing friend on HomeSeer who already has a HomeTroller SEL migrate to Home Assistant. He prefers to reuse the HomeTroller which is already flashed with latest Ubuntu than spending nearly $200 for the HA Yellow
