Honeywell Total Connect integration is gone?

What happened to the Honeywell Total Connect integration…the only honeywell integration I now see is for honeywell lyric.

?

yes…it’s listed, but if you go to config/integrations and try to add it, the integration is not there.

yes…but (see my next post)

Or the doc is not up-to-date, or the European version has no GUI, yet, so you have to configure it in configuration.yaml, as explained in the documentation.

The US one is definitely there

it’s back (US version) so I could reinstall…but the integration only finds one thermostat…a previously reported error with 2021.8.x

I had two thermostats until the update and it moved to integrations. Now only one,

Same here - got two thermostats, but only seeing one in HA.

I too have only one. I tried to revert to the manual (config yaml) approach but still only picking up one of two thermostats. I suppose I could create a separate account for the second, and have one yaml- and one UI-configured…

Can confirm the steps here work to fix the issue: New Honeywell TCC Integration doesn't support multiple thermonstats · Issue #53981 · home-assistant/core · GitHub. Particularly follow the steps posted by @ckuethe

This does NOT fix the issue. Users with multiple thermostats behind a single redlink gateway do not currently work. This is a common configuration.

I get the fact this stuff is complicated, but I confess as a new HA user, that I am surprised at the number of bugs that get through testing and break things in every monthly release (and there we get .1,.2,.3 in rapid succession). The more things break, the fewer people want to try betas, and the more bugs get though without being caught.

Because I run HA in a VM, migrating back and forth is pretty easy for me. I guess I need to be willing to test the betas before they get integrated in a monthly release to try and contribute to fix this issue. I can’t do too much of this as my family depends on HA doing things, but I want to help.

How do I select a beta release train and when is the release candidate usually available before the monthly release occurs?

I definitely get where you are coming from. While I can’t directly address your issue, I can say that my way of dealing with it is to always upgrade after a point release instead of the initial release, and only when I have a bit of time to look over the breaking changes and maybe search for issues. This time, I knew to expect changes with Honeywell, but I wasn’t aware of an issue when I upgraded. I saw it quickly because I knew to test it from the changes mentioned in the release notes.

My family relies on HA too, and I am also fortunate to be able to restore a VM in a pinch. I don’t usually have the time to invest in looking into a beta release, maybe someday I can contribute that much. But I can honestly say that in the 3 years I’ve been using HA, probably more than 95% of my upgrades have been pain-free, and the remaining 5% had issues resolved pretty quickly. I’m sure that varies a lot on the luck of the draw of someone’s configuration.

Depending on your installation type, one of these pages should help you run a beta version:

I am new in Home Assistant
i would like to install “Honeywell Total Connect Comfort (Europe)”
Within the integrations only the US version is available.
i made the change in configuration.yaml I suppose i have to fill in my username and password fot the sit below?
i have an account on https://international.mytotalconnectcomfort.com
What do i have to do more?

Did you solve this?

I have no clue how to add this to my yaml config file

Brand new to Home Assistant. Whilst i can see the powerful possibilities with this system, its just not designed to be easy

Although I use the U.S. version, I don’t mind trying to help out…does the following link help?
