HotTubManager Lay z spa

Hi Team.

So I have a Lay z spa air jet pump and I have also purchased the hottubmanager add on to control it wirelessly.

It’s connected up fine and I can control the pump via their web page. The site says works with HA but just looking for anyone who has and can give some setup pointers.

Has anyone here integrated this in to home assistant yet?

Thanks in advance.

Did you get any where with this?

Hi. No not yet but i have not had a massive amount of time to look at it. Prob be a job for over winter.

Weather in the UK has been shocking this year so not even had the hot tub out.

ive just managed to get mine set up, had MQTT set up already took abit of fiddling but works well

Any advice , steps , things to know to get this setup?

yep i did have a fiddle for a while but once i got the right information into it it just appeared in the MQTT intergration

MQTT destination: is the just the ip address of your HA install ie 192.168.1.100
the MQTT username: & MQTT password: is not the one in Broker options but the one you use to access MQTT, sounds obvious but it took me a while to work that out
Home Assistant destination: is just the ip address of your HA install ie 192.168.1.100 not 192.168.1.100:8123

when i set up MQTT a year ago i followed this https://youtu.be/dqTn-Gk4Qeo?si=7gZnInrCtpRXx_ad

Thanks mate. Much appreciated. I think i will get the pump out this weekend and set it up ready for next year

Hi. Can i check this is the same as yours.

I have my Hottub connected via MQTT now and can see and control some aspects. Are you able to turn your power on and off on yours?

Hi @McFarTech What software version is your hottub manager running? I’m out of date on 15.3 and can only get sensors into HA and no controls

I know this is a bit late but I have one of those as well, mine is on 16.9. Email Andy and he can send the update to your device.
