Hello. I have a 12.9" iPad Pro and the font that the Home Assistant app is so tiny. The app does not want to inherit the system font size. I have already increased the font size from the iPad’s settings but the HA App is so stubborn. It insists on using its own tiny font. Is there someone who can help? Or is this out of scope in this forum? The app won’t even let me pinch the screen so I can enlarge!
The frontend developers are very receptive to usability improvements. You can suggest the app use the system font size here:
Otherwise you can develop your own theme with larger fonts.
There are some settings in the app which can improve this, but not as nicely as just the font size increasing. In app settings, go to General then change the ‘Page Zoom’ and ‘Pinch to Zoom’ settings as you’d like.
I’m sorry but there is no such Settings-->General
. I have uploaded a screen shot of my 12.9" iPad with so much white space because I can’t adjust the font size of the app!
Try Settings → Companion App
Oh, that! Why does the app inherit the IOS settings? But, I’ll take it. Thanks for pointing me to the right spot.
