My Nest thermostat is present and working in my HA instance. I have a working Google SDM account.
In the Developer Tools - States tab of HA, I can view climate.family_room and hvac_action: ### is listed. The (###) field accurately describes the current thermostat status i.e. idle, heating, cooling.
How can I use the status that is present in HA so that I can display it in a Grafana dashboard? In my limited experience, I need to create an entity but I’ve no idea how.
