How do I cast a playlist?

Hi folks,

Just how do I cast a playlist? The docs hint of support for this, but I can’t find a working way. Tried a m3u file as well as multiple files with a “,”. Just how does it work?

I have tried every type of standard playlists, and none work for me.

However, Plex playlist do work.

Strange as it’s mentioned to work in the docs. I assume plex playlists cannot be used somehow with chromecast?

But this requires having the material on plex and a plex installation right?

Figured. A little much to install for just playlists.

I noticed in 2022.5.4 there is mention of “Improve Google Cast detection of HLS playlists”

Have not tried it myself yet.
