I bought an Aqara door sensor upon recommendation from a YouTube channel. I have Home Assistant set up and working on a Raspberry Pi 4 with a Zigbee Coordinator. Every time I click on Add Devices under the ZHA integration and put it into pairing mode it simply does not pop up. One time a few months ago I tried creating a demo Home Assistant machine on VMware and the sensor instantly pops up in that. When I try again on my main system, it just will not come up. Help appreciated.
Could be the dreaded USB3 interference issue (pdf link). Do you have the coordinator plugged directly into the pi?
If so, try it on a USB extension lead.
