How do I remove devices in Telldus Live?

I have a bunch of temp sensors and stuff in Telldus Live that I don’t want cluttering up the integration in Home Asisstant. And one switch that’s been removed from Telldus live, that now stands as “inaccessible” in the integration and stops me from renaming the new switch I have replaced it with to that name. I have tried restarting Hass, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Also I have forced an update of the devices, but that doesn’t remove any devices. How can I do this? Do I have to delete the integration and start from the begining? Of course that doesn’t help for the gazillion of unwated temp sensors…

I know this is an old issue but the question is still valid.
Restarting, waiting or any of the usually suggested tricks didn’t pick it up on the removal.
After reading the source code of the integration ( core/homeassistant/components/tellduslive at dev · home-assistant/core · GitHub ) I couldn’t find anything that would have removed any missing devices or entities.
I am running HassOS on a RPI 4 and I had to ssh into HA and execute ha core stop and edit .storage/core.device_registry to remove a bunch of groups that I had deleted in the Telldus Live portal. This was done AFTER I removed all entities in any of the groups.
ha core start would start the service again.

P.S. Backup any file you edit, before you edit.
