How do I rename the "Device ID" of a connected phone?

I changed the device name and the associated entities of my phone from iulian_s_iphone_16_pro_max to iulian_s_iphone. I also searched the entire .storage folder for the old name and couldn’t find it anymore.

But, for some reason, the notify platform still uses the old name:

How do I successfully rename it?

On the device in question, open the companion app and navigate to the Settings page. Folow the path:

Settings > Companion App > Servers & Devices (Click on your server) > Device Name

Rename the device and click “OK”.
