How do I reset accumulated value for a Aqara plug

I have move my plug to another location and want it to start accumulate value for delivered kWh on the new location but I cannot find out how I reset the value to zero so the old accumulation is not included on the new location.

Anyone know how?

Just rename the entity to something new. That will remove all the previous data from HA.

Thank you for your answer but it did not have any effect at all. I renamed the device and all entities but it still has the same “old” value for “Summation delivered”.

Nothing mentioned

so probably not possible.

Huh… I guess that’s stored on the device itself? I wonder if unpairing it and then re-pairing it would have any effect? Unpairing should return it to factory settings thus wiping out the value. Beyond that, I have no idea.

It’s amazing what Google And Vendors can “Serve”

lol true… my statement was that I don’t know for certain if that attribute gets wiped, even on a reset. I’ve had some devices that hold retained values even after being factory reset (toggle counters, etc).

Yeah, i ofcause also don’t know if OP will succeed , Venders Own page, not always “States” the real life facts
I do have a plug in Local Tuya, and iot.tuya, after several attempts following the vendors manual, i removed the device from iot-tuya, stuffed it away for month, when i then needed it again, i hold the button pressed while plugging it in, and i got a nice surprise  , at last it did reset.

Did a reset as suggested and that did the trick. I thought it should result in a lot of reconfig but it just worked fine after the reset.

Thanks.

Found a solution

You need to use the Integral integration. Set it to sum the Aqara plug power and it’s done.

The “downside” is that you’ll now have two “summation delivered” fields in your plug sensor. You may thing of them as your A and B millage meters.
