How do I send a notification if any item in a group triggers a condition? (ie. any z-wave device with low battery should send notification)

I have a few groups of devices that I’d like to send an alert based on a condition.

For example, if any Z-Wave device with a battery has a low battery status I’d like to send an alert with the device name so I can change the battery.

Another example is if any smoke detector has a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm I’d like to send an alert (with the device name that triggered it).

I can write a bunch of automations for each device but I think there must be an easier way?
