**SOOOO…**Inovelli is asking me to make sure the correct drivers are installed for my dimmer and sent me lzw31-sn.xml to add to my config. A quick search came upon this little tutorial, which is referencing some python directory, but I’m using HA through virtualbox so I assume directories will be different. Heres a link to those instructions: https://support.inovelli.com/portal/en/kb/articles/installation-setup-lzw31-sn-dimmer-red-series-gen-2-home-assistant
**ANYWAY…**it says to edit the manufacturer specific.xml, but I dont even see that in my config folder. Which led me to this tutorial on how use custom z wave configurations: https://github.com/Petro31/inovelli_zwave_config/blob/master/README.md
BUT…, the github llink that tutorial tells you to download is archived now and I cant download it. Does that mean this way of doing this is wrong now? and theres a better way?
How do I get the XML file inovelli sent me to be read by my HA? I have one setup using ZWAVE and the other using OPEN Z WAVE beta, so whichever is easier I can do and use that going forward.
For what its worth, when I initially setup zwave, i followed this youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0HD5mTqocA&t=210s) which basically had me adding a few lines into my customization.yaml and then I saw the z wave integration in HA. Began adding nodes and that was the extent of it.
