How do I start Hassio on a Docker volume?

Hi,

I followed all the steps to install Hassio on a Docker volume, which I’m running on an Ubuntu VM. After initial setup I got it working properly. I made a few changes on the configuration file, checked it was valid and restarted the ubuntu machine.

Now, I can’t start Hassio. I get the “hello world” ok from Docker, but I have no idea how to start Hassio. Any help will be much appreciated.

You can not install hassio inside a docker volume.

You need run the generic installer like it is or it will not work or any future updates can break your System.
