How do you build your microcontrollers with ethernet and connectors for sensors and in what kind of case?

Till now all of my microcontrollers were versions with only Wifi. They look like this:

So very small case and one drilled hole through which all cables run through (usb for power and other cables for all the sensors using some small connectors so that I can disconnect the controller from the location)

Now i’m going to change to ethernet versions. So I’m searching for which components I can use. I don’t want to drill a big hole for the ethernet connectors. So I have searched on Aliexpress for some connectors and I have order them:

Unfortunately i will use a much bigger case (bigger than this one on the picture) and I found those connectors:

I had also ordered this one (but the cable is very stiff so I don’t going to use this one):

D Type RJ45 with cable

So the ethernet and usb connectors I will build in my case so that it looks nice. The small flat cable will connect the microcontroller with this connector. For USB the same.

And for all my sensors I have not seen any better idea. So drill one hole with the small connectors at the outside.

So I’m curious how do you this? Do you have some pictures of the final result?
