I’m wanting to upgrade my Z-Wave adapter to the ZWA-2 from my Aeotec Z-Stick 10 Pro dual mode adapter that covers Z-Wave and Zigbee. I still need the Z-Stick for Zigbee (for now but will later upgrade that to the ZBT-2).
How do you accomplish this?
Additional context:
the docs (HA and Aeotec) covering migration fail to cover this scenario where you can’t remove the old adapter because it’s covering other protocols but I tried to follow the normal process and it said to remove the existing Z-Wave radio. I can’t so I proceeded to the next step where you select the new Z-Wave radio but the ZWA-2 didn’t show up (it was plugged in and the blue light was on so seems to be working). it only showed my existing controller which I selected and proceeded with but it broke everything and I had to do a full system restoration.
why didn’t the ZWA-2 show up?
