Hey,
I have a no-name LED lamp (A60 AC220-240V 60Hz 9W E27 3000K-6000K Made in China) with a remote control (it only says JXD 1288 on the housing and 2.4G-121–X on the circuit board) that work very well together.
Now the question arises whether I can somehow integrate them into my HA?
How do the two communicate?
Is it 2.4Ghz WiFi?
Wow thank you.
I havn’t found that before.
How to reset that bulb? (I’ll try to put it on and off few times)…
But the bigger question would be how to reset the remote? Just put the battery in and out? Press any button?
I already have a few Zigbee devices @home and want to expand the network in the next years so this would be great if it is really Zigbee.
I will test it and respond if I could find any solution here
Don’t know about the remote - they all look much the same.
Has it got an LED (not the one on top in the picture, but one that points at the device you’re controlling)? If it has it’s probably IR or RF, so possibly not a Zigbee bulb after all.
A lot of Zigbee remotes are reset by holding down the power button until the LED starts flashing (usually 5-10 seconds). That puts them in pairing mode.
Hey Stiltjack,
Thanks a lot for your replay again!
No there is no IR-LED on the board (you can see it at the first pic with the bulb).
It seems that there is a “antenna” on the board at the top left side.
I tried already ~60/156 possible two button combos (inkluding the pressing one button for ~15secs and pressing one button several times).
It was included in a shelf but there are no info regarding the remote or bulb besides some nice buzzwords…
Here the Link
There is no way to open the bulb without breaking it
Hello,
I was not able to find a pairing mode for the remote.
Is there any other idea out there to use this remote control any further?
My wife would be so happy if we could find a way to get it running with HomeAssistant!
