A quick write up of rooting, mounting and configuring cheap Amazon Fire tablets to control Home assistant. Since there were 9 tablets I automated some of the rollout of settings. Also, when not in use, the tablets turn into photo viewers, showing a random photo served out of PiGallery2 and then resized through nginx.
