I was looking at Smarter iKettle. It doesn’t integrate with HA but does have IFTTT.
Assuming I want 2 way integration (control in HA controls the kettle, controlling the kettle updates HA) do I need 4 applets for that ? or is 2 sufficient ?
Thanks

Depends how many IFTTT triggers are available for the iKettle. I should think four for a simple on/off. Presumably you’ll be using webhooks, in which case it will be two to send instructions from HA and two to update HA if the kettle is operated locally or switches off because the water has boiled. This is using the old IFTTT applets - haven’t tried the new clever ones.
Thanks, I figured it might be 4 (Hence IFTTT only allowing 3 free ) I was trying to avoid paying for IFTTT
Although, I could probably do 1 way from HA and I probably don’t even need ‘off’ from HA as I assume the kettle would auto off when it’s boiled anyway.
