How to access a NICE gate with a BIDI wifi module from Home assistant

Hi community,

I require a bit of your help as I have bought myself a new house that has a gate operated by a NICE gate opener and noted that it also has a BIDIWIFI module, that allows me to open the gate via the MyNice app.

I have a home assistant enviroment on my nas 920+in a docker container. I already have the lights, AC, Solar invertor, lawn mower and roborock in home assistant and they wort great.

Could you guys guide me a bit on how i can get also the NICE gate to be in any way controlled via home assistant ?
Any advice, links, workarounds, that does not require soldering is welcomed, as I dont know If I need to buy some more adaptors, or what integration could see that BIDI wifi module, so I can control the gate via home assistant.

Thank you in advance for any help this community can provide.

The only thread I was ever able to find was this one

And GitHub

Since I was in the same boat I was trying to find a way to use the bidiwifi but the link to the fork and bin file for the esp32 didn’t work

Gate openers are usually a just a relay with a trigger source.

You can get a esp32 relay and just bypass the existing. Both the original NICE and new esp32 can work.

Old topic don’t know if yo got it going, but via Homekit it works over here. Maybe give that a go?
