How to access HA file system through WinSCP?

I tried host name ‘homeassistant.local’ with the default port 8123 and my username password. The connection is refused.

Winscp is a an FTP or SSH client, you will need to setup an FTP or SSH addon before it will connect. Not sure it will be easier than using the samba addon though.

Also, you cannot connect to 8123 with SSH or FTP anyhow.
