How to automate a semi-smart house with different tools?

Hey this is my first post, and I officially bought a rasperry pi 4 so I can start automating and connecting my smart devices all together.

I am looking to get some of these projects underway/leverage what already exists out there, but in order to do that I am looking to understand how to configure my hass correctly.

  • How to see all devices connected to my router?
  • Presence detection using my tp link archer C7 router through device identification?
  • How to broadcast from a google home device to all Alexa devices?
  • Playing hulu on my tv using google home?

Anyone have any directions on these?

  2. Read lots of forum posts especially in the configuration and show your projects groups.

  3. Search the forums for specific topics.

  4. Try it out.
