How to change entity name in UI?

Seems like it is not possible to change the entity name in UI.
How to change the entity name that i put a red circle?

Go to Configuration ā†’ Entities ā†’ Type switch.1000949e80 ā†’ Click on it ā†’ Change the Entity ID ā†’ Update

Try going to Developer Tools. Scroll down until you see your switch and click on the circled ā€œiā€. The will call up the more_info window. Now click on the gear at the top right.
Hopefully that will show the device name, icon, etc which you can change and tap UPDATE at the bottom right.
However, if that just gives you the same box as you saw above, try going to Configuration | Customizations tap the drop-down icon at the far right of the Entity name input box or start typing switch. and scroll down to your switch from there.
Then tap the drop-down icon at the far right of Pick an attribute to override and click on Friendly Name. Type in the name you want and tap SAVE at the bottom left.

Entity without a unique ID: Entity ID is considered a fixed, static identifier and cannot be changed.
