How to check if a camera is already recording

Hello.
I do need some help.
I’m capturing video from my cams.
This is working oke.
Sometime The same camera recording is triggered again by an other situation while it is already recording.
This gives an error in NR.
Is it possible to check if a camera is already recording?

I did this by just rate limiting the messages sent using the delay node

Thanks for the answer.
I’m thinking on using a boolean to check. But I was hoping on using the “current state” node
because I then only needs one node to check
