How to check if a power plug works as Zigbee Repeater?

I am using zigbee2mqtt and I am looking for zigbee power plugs, that also work as repeaters, because my Sonoff Zigbee stick is on 1st floor, and some of my power plugs will be in my cellar. How can I check, if a power plug can work as repeater? Ist it documented here?

I would like to buy this device, if it can work as repeater.

Or can you recommend good power plugs?

They usually do, you can doublecheck by using Z2M map

by default, any mains powered zigbee device is expected to act as router

I missed a bit… I only read the ‘check’ part poorly
If you are not seeking as cheap as posisble, I would acquire something with power consumption

edit: I bought these

You have two ways to go with smart plugs.
I also use Tuya plugs as repeaters, and they do just fine. As @vingerha has mentioned, getting some with power monitoring gives you so many more options, like actually detecting if the device plugged in is on or not.

However… tuya devices (mainly talking about bulbs and plugs), don’t always have the best antenna design, and can have slightly lower LQI / RSSI values, which in turn, would impact whether they are seen as an attract route for other devices. Your mileage may vary depending on your setup.

I’ve noticed though, that the IKEA plugs and bulbs are much better as repeaters, with way stronger signal strength, but the downside of the IKEA plugs is that they aren’t power monitoring.
