How to clear cache on macOS app?

I searched all across the internet and this forum and couldn’t find an answer anywhere. There is no way to clear the cache from the macOS companion app. On iOS you have a specific option (companion settings) which doesn’t exist on macOS. The macOS app also uses its own rendering I believe (clearing caches from Safari or other browsers don’t work, I tried).

So: how on earth are we supposed to clear the frontend caches WITHOUT resorting to deleting the entire app with App Cleaner? I also looked in ~/Library/Caches on macOS folder, but there are no HA companion app folders anywhere. I need to clear the cache, so it can properly load the correct custom component after a downgrade.

Right click on HA icon in the menu bar and open Preferences. Then go to Debugging tab and you will find there option to Reset frontend cache:

Thank you so much! I run the app in fullscreen on a second portable monitor. Never occured to me to check the menubar for preferences
