How to "clear the frontend cache"

Might be pretty obvious to some, but where do I find the setting to clear the front end cache?

If you are suing Chrome, press F12 and then long click the refresh button and you will see this :

Select the third option. Job done. You can then close the debug tab.

Hold on a minute : are we talking about browser cache here? Is that what “frontend cache” is referring to?

Yup, that’s what it is.

+20 years in IC design, and I just inadvertently asked on a forum how to clear my damn browser cache. :man_facepalming:

Same here. I was thinking “frontend” as in a database Front End.

The instructions should of added clear web browser cache. I have been in the IT industry for close to 40 years and this is a common problem. I think Home Assistant needs to add quality assurance and usability people than can make sure not just programmers and high end techs but also newbies can use the products.

Totally agree. The further away a thing is from needing separate instructions, the better.
