I have several wifi devices controlling my washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc. They are all named like this, so “diswasher” etc is their name in HA.
Now I want to use emulate_hue to power them on at a certain time.
Problem: I want to say the commands in german: “Alexa, schalte die Spülmaschine um 14 Uhr ein”. (which means: “alexa, power the dishwasher at 2 p.m.”).
But how can I tell alexa that “Spülmaschine” should target my “dishwasher” device. Do I have to create an alias for this inside HA? If yes, how?
I’d like to prevent having to rename the device itself, because then I’d also have to go through any automations that uses the device name as reference…
