How to control suction speed of my extractor with Home Assistant?

Hi everyone,
I bought the vacuum extractor linked here vacuum extractor and I’d like some help integrating it with Home Assistant to control the suction speed.
Right now, I can only switch it on using a Sonoff, but I’d like to adjust the speed based on my needs, ideally automatically.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

assumption: this controller uses a 10v signal to set ‘speed’. so the extractor also provides a 10v power to that knob.

direction: find a 10v device that can take over or set parrallel to the knob. That way the 10v device can also steer a signal to the motor and you are in control of speed. when set in parallel, both the knob and 10v device can set a higher speed.

sample Zwave device: Qubino Flush Dimmer 0-10V Z-Wave+ (ZMNHVD1) , if you search for zigbee you might also find it and ESP will definitly have somthing similar.

Thank you @checking12 for your reply.
Do you think something like this — https://www.iskydance.com/index.php?c=product_show&a=index&id=1647 — would be suitable for my setup?

technically yes, with a few side note to consider:

  • it requires a 220v power source , which you can easily facilitate probably
  • it seems a tuya device, which is on most people’s ‘no go list’ for stability and support reasons.
  • you need a zigbee network to make it work (no clue if you have or not)

I’ve sketched out a diagram like the one in the attached image. Does this make sense to you?

Of course, just don’t expect the black plug to fit any where. You’ll need to open the side of your ventilator to see where it needs to be attached

The fan control interface uses a connector similar to a standard DC power adapter plug, and its use is optional.

ah… pictures i saw didnt show that. well done investigating!
