Hi,
I setup a new HA instance. It auto-generated the dashboard Overview for me. I created a new one (Dashboard) I built my user interface on. I now would like to delete the Overview one but can’t figure out a way to do it. Any help is appreciated.

The dialog displayed when selecting the name of the Overview dashboard is pretty self explanatory. It can be a trigger for obsessive types (who, me? [chuckle]).
A power user on a mission might want to do something about it, and might want to start here “Multiple Dashboards” scroll to “Using YAML for the Overview dashboard”
Overview is the default dashboard for new users and new devices, so it cannot be deleted. Furthermore, if you have a different dashboard you want as a default for everyone, Home Assistant will at times forget that for known users and browsers too, which is annoying.
Your best option is to go to your real, desired default dashboard, enter raw mode in the top right menu, copy all the yaml, and paste it in the same place on the overview dashboard. Now your overview dashboard is an exact copy. When everything checks out, you can delete the other one. That way, Home Assistant will always consider your dashboard the default. It will also be the default on new browsers and for new users, or if you flush your cache.
