How to disable cancellation of the log file at startup

Hello, when I restart Home Assistant, or when the Raspberry reboots, the home-assitant.log file is deleted and created new, and in this way i loose what happened before the restart.
As soon as I am experiencing a problem that crashes the system, i would like to know what happened last before reboot.
Is there a way to avoid log cancellation at startup?
I have HA Core 2021.6.5.

Better logging

Coming from the perspective of a long time linux user, I find logging in home assistant a bit in need of improvement. No criticism, I suspect the current system probably arose out of small SD card and not wanting to over fill the thing. The problem I perceive is that the log disappears on each start of home assistant. So valuable information that might help debugging is lost. If you are using an SD card you can remove it after the crash and look at the file on a Linux PC or Windows PC running DiskInternals LinuxReader (free).
