How to dismiss persistent notification?

good point. I’m not really sure which version the OP is on tho. I didn’t see the answer when I asked.

Screenshot shows the notification indicator is located in the upper right-hand corner (so not a recent version).

Sorry, it’s 0.92.1

Is there any particular reason you are nine releases behind?

If not, update and see if it fixes your problem. Be aware though, there are many breaking changes you may have to take account of.

Probably best to update one version at a time and read the release blog post for breaking changes for each one, rectify any issues, then proceed to the next version and repeat.

Answered your own question there. :slightly_smiling_face:

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And my personal corollory: if you don’t know that an update will fix your minor problem, but you do know that it will take you hours of tracking down breaking changes and trying to fix them, and probably be stuck with new problems, don’t do it.

It’s only going to get worse. Rip it off like a band-aid.

Can I ask how do you find the notification_id within Home Assistant. I can’t find it in the logs

You assign the notification id yourself when you create the notification.
