How to enable Home Assistant to find the IP addresses of all my things automatically, when my router is set to reboot every 24 hours?

These erroneous IP addresses were all caused by false positives created by a bug in my IP scanner software. Upgrading the software to the latest version resolved the issue. Once again it seems I am spared from enduring further expense. Thanks for all the responses.

iphones default setting is to spoof a mac address every time you connect, android and windows also have the “feature” . This causes the router to assign an ip lease every time the device connects.

I think you mean 255.255.252.0.
255.255.255.252 would give you 2 usable IP addresses (4 total including gateway and broadcast).

yes, my typo… i ment /22 which is 255.255.252.0
At least the link showed it correctly :yum:
